Can someone disable WYZE camera?
The turn Off camera in the App as you know does not really turn Off the camera, it should really be called Stand-By and Not On/Off. The Only way to remotely reset (power cycle) would be to add a smart plug for the power supply to be turned On/Off.

Does Wyze record all the time?
Your camera will continuously record video to the microSD card, giving you the option to have constant recording available for playback later – no subscription required. The cam can still create alert videos that are captured and stored on the cloud based on the camera’s other recording settings.
How do I stop Wyze from recording?
If you are on a fixed schedule, you can turn Event Recording on and off via a Wyze app schedule, or by turning the camera on and off on a schedule, as suggested. If you are randomly in and out, your GPS location can help, but at this time only via a 3rd party app, like IFTTT.
